Residents report a new base and paving through Lussier, with the remainder untouched, continuing ponding at the dip near SR 52, and queues at the shared outbound lane. These are observations, not an as-built certification or a measured traffic-delay study.

FDOT’s hearing transcript preserves Cody McBride’s 2006 concerns about drainage beneath SR 52, water quality and proposed preserve access. The report also preserves FDOT’s response that drainage, signals and wildlife crossing would be evaluated during final design.
